Repair Groups

Last updated 1 year ago

A repair group is designed to limit the repair definitions offered to the customer based upon a set of rules.

Repair groups require a selection of rule criteria alongside a selection of repair definitions. When a customer matches the set of rules, the repair definitions will be available to them.

If the customers agreement or property does not meet the rule requirement, the customer will not be offered the repair definitions associated with the repair group.

The same repair definition can be used within multiple repair groups. This allows you to have complex rule options, dependent on different criteria.

Create a repair group

From the 'Repairs Groups' section of the Dashboard click 'Add Group'.

Give your group a name, select whether you require all rules to match before showing the definitions or whether one must match and finally select which repairs you want to make available from your list of definitions.

Create a rule by clicking 'Add Rule'.

Select which column from the available data columns that you wish to match the value on. Now select which condition to match on from the available conditions. Finally type the value to match. Click 'Add Rule'.

View the summary of the repair group creation and click 'Create Group'.

Edit a repair group

After a repair group has been created, it is possible to edit the group to add/remove repair definitions and edit the associated rules. You can also update the repair group name.

From the 'Repairs Groups' section of the Dashboard click 'Edit' on the relevant group.
