Tenant Testing

This guide provides guidance on the UAT process recomended for TenantWise

User Acceptance testing is a vital part of deploying any software package. Here is some guidance on steps to take and items to test during the testing phase of your TenantWise rollout.

During your testing phase, you will need to ensure that the following features are tested.

The following features and scenarios must be tested on the web, IOS and Android versions of you TenantWise platform.

Tenant Features

• Register as a new tenant

• Complete a password re-set

• Login to the portal

• Verify the Two Factor codes are being emailed correctly

• Verify that the Two Factor code works correctly

• Verify the agreements displayed on the home page are correct

• Verify that if the tenant has more than one agreement, the switch agreement option is provided

• Verifiy that you are able to switch agreements if there are more than one

• Check the transactions screen is correct

• Fiter the transactions by date to ensure the integrations is working correctly

• Download a statement on the transactions page

• Navigate to different areas of the system via the top left menu or mobile app bottom bar

• View the requests screens

• Create a request

• Verify the request displays on the request screen

• View repairs

• Create a repair based on the definitions set up in the administrator screens

• Cancel a repair

• Check the payment links and buttons are working as expected

• Check the tenant profile using the person icon in the top right

• Update one of the contact methods

• Add a new contact method

• Check you can change the users password

• If the tenant has a repair appointment outstanding, verify they show on the home screen

• Verify the chat integration is working correctly

• Verify that the mobile app requires the users device pin to open the app

• Once all testing is complete, check you can delete the tenants account via the profile page

Scenarios

To ensure that your testing covers all use cases, please ensure that you come up with as many different types of tenant as possible. Below is an example of some different scenario's you could test. Please ensure you add your own based on your customers needs and your business requirements.

• Tenants with more than one agreement

• Tenants with one agrememet

• Tenants with former agreements and current agreements

• Tenants with only former agreements

• Tenants with one or more agreements that have multipul accounts per agreement

• Tenants with agreements types other than a traditional rental property such as shared owners

• Tenants that should be able to access the portal but not raise repairs

• Tenants with credit balances

• Tenants with arrears
